As a Laborer with Owen Masonry you’ll be part of a team that respects each other, values safety and takes pride in doing industry-best restoration masonry. You’ll also receive on-the-job training as you begin your career in masonry. A desire to learn, respect for safety and willingness to pitch-in to get the job done are important.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Setting up and taking down scaffolding
Mixing, and supplying mud
Cutting and grinding out masonry joints
Transporting materials to and from the jobsite
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work at various heights from scaffolding, swing stages or aerial lifts
Desire to learn new skills
Willingness to pitch in to get the job done
Respect for safety and willingness to follow Owen Masonry safety policies
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
Valid drivers license

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Cutting and grinding out mortar joints
Tuckpointing
Laying brick, block, stone and terra cotta
Stone patching
Caulking
Waterproofing
Installing through-wall flashing
Operating a variety of equipment including aerial lifts
Setting up and taking down scaffolding
Assisting with training other crew members

Owen Masonry is known for high-quality work and also as a great place to work. Our Foremen are essential to maintaining this reputation. As a Foreman you’ll be responsible for setting and achieving goals, motivating crews, creating safe job sites and upholding high quality standards. Attention to detail and willingness to pitch-in to get the job done are important. Projects typically consist of cutting, tuckpointing, brick replacement, patching, caulking, waterproofing and through-wall flashing.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Arriving to the job site ahead of the crew so work can begin efficiently at start time
Setting goals and organizing the workday to meet them
Working hands-on to set the pace and quality standard
Keeping the crew stocked with tools, equipment and supplies
Maintaining regular communication with supervisor: daily progress reports, materials requests, project concerns, etc.
Conducting weekly site-specific safety meetings with the crew
Ensuring crews are operating tools and equipment in a safe, proper and productive manner
Training and coaching crew members
Boosting crew moral and maintaining a pleasant, productive atmosphere
Recording and submitting daily timesheets using a mobile app
Setting up and taking down scaffolding
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work at various heights from scaffolding, swing stages or aerial lifts
Ability to operate motorized equipment including aerial and scissor lifts
Willingness to pitch in to get the job done
Respect for safety and willingness to enforce safety policies
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
