Waterproofing and Masonry Protection
Water intrusion is common around windows, doors and other openings. When not properly sealed, this brick-to-opening joint allows moisture to enter and travel down inside the wall, accumulating on steel lintels where it develops into pack rust. Expanding pack rust exerts pressure on the surrounding brickwork, forcing cracks, buckling and masonry displacement.
